Just wanted to talk a little bit about a subject I heard all the time….. I often get comments things like, “I eat healthy, I don’t eat dinner, I only eat Organic or Gluten Free, or I don’t eat carbs or I eat Almonds and granola all day long ?but can’t figure out why I can’t lose weight.” ?????… It’s very important to say that without planning what your body really needs based on your Body type and lifestyle, your body won ’t respond efficiently . Even if you workout every day. You Might be still eating too high calories even if they’re “clean calories”!
There is no question that nuts are healthy. … a great snack option if you are trying to be healthier ( better than chips and fries, of course) However, nuts are very calorie dense (high in fat, low in water), so eating unlimited amounts can easily add an extra several hundred calories a day to your diet, which could lead to weight gain and increased cholesterol levels. So just watch out!!!! ?/p>

How Much Is Enough?
The general recommendation for nuts is 1-1.5 ounces per day for heart health. This however needs to fit within your calorie limit to prevent weight gain. The USDA recommends 1 ounce of nuts as a serving size which equals:
- Pistachios: 47
- Almonds: 24
- Peanuts: 28
- Hazelnuts: 21
- Pecans: 20 (halves)
- Cashews: 18
- Walnuts: 14 (halves)
- Macadamias: 10-12
- Brazil nuts: 6-8
So, It’s very important to exercise portion control. I recommend just make little bags already portioned so that way you won’t end up eating the entire package ?.
